Happy New Year Meditation

Listen to the silence. Be still and let your soul catch up.

 

Hey you.

It’s New Years Eve and today, I want to give you a little reminder that helps me when I feel lost and stuck in my own thoughts and emotions. I scribbled these words down a few months ago and I still return to them whenever I feel like I need to.

Remember that I told you how I healed because of my willingness to listen and align with myself. My TRUE self. Which, by the way, can be tough. I share this with you because it’s so important that you carve out some time to listen. Just listen and discover.

My New Year intention is to believe more in myself and not get distracted from what others believe or think is right for me. I want to be more mindful with regard to (social) media, work and friends. I want to spend more time in nature and less time inside in front of my computer. I want to travel more and sit on my couch less. Oh and so, so much more.

I also want to gift you with more IMPORTANT information. Information that is able to help people. So don’t expect me to update you with a new post every week. There are way too many blogs out there that are doing this already. Instead, I will provide you with useful information whenever I feel that a topic might be so important that I just cannot keep it for myself. I already have some special things in mind. So stay tuned for some amazing content in 2019!

Here is a little something that I want to share with you today.

Sometimes all it takes is a minute of silence – that I can take wherever I am.

Just read the following words (a couple of times) before you repeat them on your own!

Just be still. Just do it.

Be YOU and watch for the magic that unfolds.

 


 

Let’s begin.

 

Find a quiet place and settle into a comfortable seat. Take some deep breaths in and out.

With every inhale you take, you let new energy flesh your body. With every exhale you release the things you no longer want to hold onto.

Inhale the new. Exhale the old.

 

Repeat.

 

Close your eyes while only focusing on your breath. Let your mind wonder without judgment. Let every thought just pass right through you.

Remember, your body is your only home.

Your body is your temple.

Tune out.

Tune in.

And listen.

 

Soak up the taste of stillness.

 

Remember your roots and learn to trust the wisdom of your body again.

YOU are the cure you have been seeking.

YOU are the creator of your own reality.

YOU are perfect as you are.

The time is now to embody stillness.

To breathe for the purpose of breathing.

To eat for the purpose of nourishing your body.

To live for the purpose of living.

Take a breath in and out…

 

And quietly whisper to yourself,

I choose love.

Repeat it until you believe it!

 

“The body achieves what the mind believes!”

 

I want you to know that you are not alone, ever.

You will heal.

You will rise again.

I promise.

But you have to believe.
